Thu, 13 November 2008 Here it is! Episode Twelve: "Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes." For this show, we are going all professional! We have a mixing board which greatly increases the sound quality! We did learn a couple of things with this show. For instance, if you keep your cell phone too close to to microphone, you will get interference. Specifically, at 20m 30sec, 54m, 1h 2sec and 1h 45sec. So, lesson learned. We also learned that it is possible to talk for an unreasonably long amount of time. In our record long show, we cover new releases on DVD and in the theater, I go on a rant about the biggest jerk in Hollywood and how he almost ruined Fanboys, we discuss our favorite road trip movies, and then we get all serious and talk about proposition 8 in California. I can't recall if there are any links that I needed to include, so there aren't any. Enjoy! Chris Write us! areyouseriouspodcast@gmail.com Don't forget to call in! (206) 338-3094 go Speed Racer! Mon, 3 November 2008 This is our last show before the election. I want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone out there to go and vote on Tuesday. This is the most crucial election of our lives and your voice needs to be heard. This week our friend Jorge stops by to talk a bit about his impressions going into the last week of the campaigns. It was a lot of fun and I hope we can have him back on soon. Here's the link to 5th grader Damon Weaver's interview with Joe Biden. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW5X1eaozxQ There's not really much else to say, we've done our best over the past two months to make the campaigning process fun, informative and sarcastic. (With a healthy lean to the left. Damn elitist liberal media!) Now it's up to you. GET OUT AND VOTE! We'll see you after the election!
