This week, we talk a bit about what a girl who may (or may not) be a brilliant satirist has to say about God and the disaster in Japan. Then we hear from what an absolute moronic sack of meat (Glenn Beck) has to say about it. To balance him out, we give you 7 different way that you can help the massive relief effort.
We also talk about Casey, the absolute bad ass kid that stood up to his bully and power slammed him into the ground so hard, the piece of crap bully could not walk straight. We have a few listener submitted stories, oddly enough, two focus on food and violence. We list off ten ways you might know if you are a tea-bagger and we cover a number of other topics, including why Battle: Los Angeles may or may not have the substance to go the distance.
And, how can we forget what Michelle Bachmann said about where the Revolutionary War started. Specifically, "The Shot Heard 'Round the World." You won't believe your ears. I certainly didn't.

This week, since there were really no new shows that we watch, we talk a bit about "Rango" and "Rubber." After that, we discuss topics ranging from Wisconsin to Rush Limbaugh to the father that has vowed to kill his son's cannibal murderer. Things take a weird turn, as usual when we read some of the more idiotic rantings from the hate mail pages of dailykos.com. After all that, we talk about how to keep and foster children's sense of innocence and magic. Then we end with some more news about Reverend Scott's campaign. Music this week is from" Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V.2" Ministry - "Stigmata (remix)" The Cramps - "Surfin' Bird" Sisters of Mercy - "More" Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"

What is going on is Wisconsin? Is it happening anywhere else? Why would the Republicans be so hell bent on getting rid of unions? With some help from Jon Stewart and Rachel Maddow, we try to explain some of what's been happening. http://areyouseriouspodcast.podbean.com/feed |

This week, we talk about a bunch of movies that Frank watched. Films like The Godfather 2, and a bunch of other stuff that was mostly crap. We spend a bit of time with television and take some more pot shots at Glee while discussing the regular shows we always talk about. We take some time to talk about some news stories, while avoiding Egypt, Wisconsin and Libya, because neither of us know enough to talk about it yet. We have some listener submitted stories, feedback and I just realized now, one voice mail that we forgot to play. Reverend Scott amps up his slanderous campaign against the hosts and we have some things to say in our defense.
Music this week is from Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V.1" The Dead Milkmen - "Rocketship" and "If You Love Somebody, Set Them On Fire" Fishbone - "Sunless Saturday" and "Everyday Sunshine" Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"

This week, Chris got his new super phone, so we talk a bit about that and the shopping experience. They were all sold out, but were they really? We follow that with some of the recent things we have watched, and then we talk about some things in real life, like creationism being taught in schools, the Egypt and Wisconsin demonstrations and how girls shouldn't "dress like sluts." (Not my words.) We have some great listener feedback and suggested stories. Enough with the reading... get to listening! Also, it may be time for another political rebuttal.
Music this week is from: Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V1" Violent Femmes - "Add It Up" Steve Vai - "Erotic Nightmares" Everyone Has AIDS - "Trey Parker and Matt Stone Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"

This week, Chris spent way too much time at work, and didn't make up proper breaks or even line up a bunch of news stories to talk about. However, the Volkswagen commercial, some jaded moron's interperation of it and a few other things did manage to make it's way into the conversation. Glee, Community, 30 Rock and much much more, including the reality series Face Off and Young Justice are discussed. Music this week is from: Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V.1" Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows" Axis of Awesome - "What Would Jesus Do?"

This week, Frank is back and he tells us all about the birth of his son, Franky. Everything from 30 hours of labor to how great the hospital staff was is covered in the first part of the show. From there we move on to reviewing (sort of) some of the shows from the past week and a few movies we saw, including The Sorcerer's Apprentice. After that, we enter into our fast paced news segment. The Egypt revolt, Steve Harvey and his astounding ignorance, Rush Limbaugh doing an impression of the Chinese language, Glenn Beck thinking that Marxist communist Muslims are responsible for the uprising in Egypt, China using "Top Gun" movie footage as their military propaganda, China again copying movies and comics, this time "Judge Dredd," and how they plan on creating a Mega-City. There’s much much more, including Ann Coulter and an idiot that things some pretty dumb things about the so-called "homosexual agenda." You need to hear him to believe it. From there, we have our answer to Reverend Scott's mean spirited mudslinging campaign ad, listener feedback and the end of the show. Music this week is from: Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V.1" The Horrorpops - "Kiss Kiss Kill Kill" King's X - "Over My Head" AC/DC - "Snowballed" Concrete Blonde - Everybody Knows"

This week, we start off with just Chris updating you on the news that does and doesn't matter. The reason that Chris is all alone is, Frank's wife delivered the baby! Listen to the show for all the details. We talk about Rush Limbaugh and the fact that he doesn't know not to insultingly imitate spoken Chinese. We recall the tragedy of the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion of 1986. Do you remember anyone else on that flight besides Christa McAuliffe? Didn't think so. We take a few minutes and tell you who else was on the doomed shuttle. From there, we have a few more stories then we take our first break.

In this episode, we get caught up on listener feedback that booted by gmail's spam filter. But, that's at the end of the show. Before that, we talk about some movies that Frank has seen, some television that we have both watched and other nonsense. After that, we talk about the Hollywood Foreign Press and Ricky Gervaise, Mrs. Giffords remarkable recovery, a pretty solid reason why Pope John Paul II shouldn't become a saint, Rob Lowe on Funny or Die and a whole bunch of unreleated stuff. This week's show is pretty random so I won't bother with a full outline. It would ruin the fun!
Music this week is from: Chris Bricklemyer - "Are You Serious Theme V.1" Dethklok - "Go Into the Water" Frank and Moon Unit Zappa - "Valley Girl" The Bloodhound Gang - "Kiss Me Where it Smells Funny"" Concrete Blonde - "Everybody Knows"
