Are You Serious?
Each week, Chris and Frank examine movies, current events, pop culture and people in general while keeping a cynical eye out for the dumbest things that happen during the week.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Two Married geeks. It has been almost four months since our last episodeand we are back to explain what the delay in recording was and finally answer some feedback from the last episode.

This episode's topic is "What can I do on Valentines's Day if I don't have a date?"

Well, plenty. Take a listen.

After that, we answer some pretty serious e-mail questions and listen to some voice mail feedback.

Music in this episode is from:

P!nk - "U and UR Hand" - Funhouse (live)

Lick the Tins - "Can't Help Falling in Love" - Blind Man On a Flying Horse

We will be back soon with another episode!

Episode Seventy Seven:"Nineteen seventy seven. He's um... he's with your friends."

Well, here it is, our last pre-Lost season premiere episode. That's why we recorded Monday night instead of Tuesday. This week, we discuss some very random things, from the Grammys to the Supreme Court to our President getting his confidence back and taking it to the opposition. We call Bri, if only to prove that she is actually a real person. The call does not last long. Apparently, people are trying to sleep.

Music this week is from:

Joe Satriani - "Surfing with the Alien (live)"

Betty Blowtorch - "I Hope You Die"

P!nk - "Bohemian Rhapsody (live)"

Thanks for your support, and because you asked (no, seriously some of you did) there is now a donate button on our website - www.areyouseriouspodcast.com

It's very humbling and really awesome that people would want to contribute to this show. Thank you so very much!

This week, we try to introduce another new element into the show; we do the show straight through without stopping. This is a bit clunky, and the breaks are super long (however entertaining,) but growth is always messy, isn't it? This week we discuss why the Office let us down, and what is still delivering each week. We have a couple of douche-bags, and we skype in friend of the show, Dan. Thanks everyone for your support, we will shorten the breaks for next week, but we'll probably try something new again! Music this week is from: Du Jour - "Backdoor Lover" Josie and the Pussycats - "Real Wild Child" Living Colour - "Cult of Personality" Bad Religion - "Leaders and Followers" Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures - "Honky Tonk Halloween" D.R.I. - "All for Nothing" Milla Jovovich - "Little Light of Love" Biohazard - "State of the World Address" Killer Dwarfs - "We Stand Alone" Digital Underground - "The Humpty Dance" If you want the links mentioned in this week's feedback section, visit www.areyouseriouspodcast.com Call us at 206-338-3094 or write areyouseriouspodcast@gmail.com

Episode Seventy Five: "Fifty bucks, Grandpa. For seventy-five, the wife can watch."

This week is the first week recording with the new computer. To celebrate that fact, we have our very first internet guest. We call our friend Jorge so he can give us his opinion of "The Book of Eli," as well as his take on the Haiti situation and some of the more despicable responses to the disaster.

Other topics covered are; the Golden Globe awards, Avatar, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, SModcast, A Single Man, Mac Pros and a lot more.

Music included in this show is from:
Def Leppard - "Foolin"
Bad Religion - "Incomplete"
AC/DC - "Shake Your Foundations"

In episode seventy three, we discuss some of our recently seen movies and T.V. as usual, and some of the games that Chris has played.

Frank talks about his douche-bag of the week and Chris joins in with his and then segues into weird laws from another state. The guys then discuss some other random things, go over voice mail (one is a little softer than the others) and wrap everything up.

Music this week is from:
Motörhead - "Hellraiser"
Megadeth - "A Tout Le Monde"

Here is the first Are You Serious of the New Year! I wanted to have it out on it's regular day, but some things got in the way.

This week ,we review our favorite things of 2009. We forgo all of the regular segments, including listener feedback and focus on what we liked instead of what we didn't like. I saved some of what we didn't like for the breaks. We break the year down into movies, games, T.V. and miscellaneous stuff, how well we stuck to that format is questionable.

Yes, there is a clip from 2004 in the breaks that I intended to be all from last year, but it was so insulting, I had to include it. Hope you enjoy.

Music this week is from:
J. Giles Band - "Centerfold"
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - "I Love Rock 'n Roll"
Clutch - "Electric Worry"

Hello everyone, here is episode number seventy one for your holiday listening pleasure.

We really don't talk about the holidays all that much, but who need more people talking about it anyway, right?

This week, it was a little harder to find topics to discuss since there is nothing new on T.V. and we only managed to see one movie in theaters.

We do have more stupid state laws for you, and listener feedback. So there are some interesting things talked about.

Music this week is all from the soundtrack to the Jon Favreau directed film starring Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel... Elf!

I present to you episode seventy of "Are You Serious?"

This week, we continue the recent trend in the show of changing things up a bit. We discuss the Golden Globe nominations, Chris read a poem, (it makes sense in context,) Frank is very passionate about his douche-bag of the week, weird Massachusetts laws are talked about, as well as the usual things. Glee, Big Bang Theory, The Office, Parks and Recreations, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Community, Sing Off, Californiacation and some new (and old) releases are discussed as well.

We hear from some friends of the show in listener feedback and then wrap it up. But not before a wager over the Golden Globes is made.

Music this week is from:
Rammstein - "Mehr" and "Hallelujah"
Cast of Glee - "True Colors"
Joe Satriani - "Silent Night/Holy Night Jam"

Thanks for supporting the show!

We'll be back next week!
